WHAT IS POWDERWOOD?
Powderwood is a paste made from powdered teakwood and latex which
can easily be worked and which dries to form a strong,
hard, durable yet light material.
Each
powderwood item is individually
hand crafted and hand painted by a skilled artist. It
is effectively a sculpture built as powderwood paste is formed onto a wire frame. After drying,
it is painted with top-quality European paints. Uniquely,
our powderwood products are additionally lacquered, giving a
beautiful and fantastically realistic result.
